In this project I has to create an object that was able to break into 3+ separate parts, but none of the parts could be identical. My intended audience was anybody who likes trinkets/ small toys. It was hard to come up with ideas on my own, so I used Google to get some inspiration. I generated 5 different ideas (you can see them in my notebook) that I wanted to create. In the end I used a decision matrix to help me find the design that I wanted to create the most. I ended up choosing an elephant that breaks into 3 separate pieces, the head, body, and tail, and they are attached together with dovetail joints. Then, I created a more in-depth sketch with dimensions and started building in Fusion 360. I created each part (the head, body, and tail) separately and created tolerance in the joints so they would fit together easily.
